Captains Log #587

So, we've hit a hiccup on the book front. I have test readers reading through it right now, but because of the hiccup, we may not meet my initial release goal. It's looking to be on track for late October, early November, but I'm not entirely sure any more. I am so sorry to keep screwing things up. I hope you'll all forgive me and I honestly hope to get the book out by the end of October.

Wow, it's been a while

Hello out there to my readers, if there are still any of you left. I'm still here! I have been so overwhelmed with my editing, cover shoots (which aren't going well), and personal things that I haven't had any time to write to you.

No fear, my ramblings are back and I hope to tell you all book stuff soon.

But why wait? First things first, my editor, photographer, and I, did a photo shoot for the cover a week ago and we had a blast. The only thing, we didn't get the shot we wanted. So, we're setting up a time to do another shoot and hopefully get the right shot. The model was amazing, and my photographer took amazing shots, they just weren't the ones we were looking for. So blah on that.

Next news? The editing is finished and we're sending the first copies out to the test readers. When they're done, we'll (my editor and I) do a final go through and get the books onto Smashwords. Which means formatting them correctly and all that jazz. So, it's still a while, but we're just that much closer.

I'm pushing for a late October, early November release date, but that's still up in the air. I will, I promise, let you all know when the release date is, and I'll probably have a few little extra details in store as well.
