So, it's been a while since I wrote to you guys. I am so very sorry for this. Christmas was a fiasco with my family, and then I found out I had a very sick Aunt. My mother, brother, daughter and I went to Idaho for a few days to visit her. I've also been having issues with the roof of my house, again. So, writing has been on the back burner and I'm very sorry for that.
However, good news is, Alone should be on e-shelves very soon. I was able to figure out what I was doing wrong with my formatting, and then I fixed it. It was great to see that my book has been approved by Smashwords for Premium Distribution. That means, it should be to e-book stores any time. Or at least I hope. I looked on my nook today and it isn't there yet, but that doesn't mean it won't be soon. I will, I promise, write a blog the second I know it's on the nook.
Any way, that's really all about that for now. I am, in fact, editing the second book of the Banishment Series, Healing. Now that I know what I'm doing with the formatting, it shouldn't take too long with that. The edits are going a bit slow with the family and roof, but I am still expecting a spring release for it.
Well, that is all for now. I am excited and really hope that those of you who follow will take a chance on Alone. It's listed for .99 cents so it won't break the bank. Both of the other books in the series, Healing and the last book, Banishment, will also be released for .99 cents so no need to worry about a price hike or anything like that.
Goodnight from California. It is 8:30 and I am about to start another couple hours of editing.

Alone (Banishment Series Book #1)
IT'S OUT! I uploaded Alone to Smashwords. It's available for purchase from the site, but it's still pending approval to other stores, like Barnes and Nobel and what not.
But, I did it. Alone is out there for you to enjoy and the best part is, it's only 0.99 cents! Who wouldn't pay that for a book? I love buying books at 0.99 cuz I usually find great authors. So come on, head over to Smashwords and pick up a copy. You know you wanna....

Coming Soon!
Guess What! I have a perfect cover done by an amazing designer, and I have a blurb. But because I'm not good with technology, I'll be posting all of that tomorrow, the fourth of December. Needless to say, that means that by the end of the week, I'll be uploading my manuscript to Smashwords and hopefully all will go well and it'll be out within the next few weeks.
I am really sorry that it's taken so long. I feel horrible. Not that excuses matter, but my life has been incredibly hectic, and again, I suck with technology. So everything is ready to go, and it'll just take a quick look over by my editor and tech person, the presto! Alone will be uploaded to Smashwords and hopefully available on all devices which have the e-reading capability.
I'm really excited and I hope all of you out there in internet land will be too. Editing on the next book in the series, Healing, is going well. It's a bit slower because it's the initial edits, but it's going well.
So, that's all from me tonight. I've got to get back to my Christmas present making so I'll be able to do it without too much four year old help.

Computers, grrr...
So, I've been working really hard on Alone (that's the name of the book I'm releasing really soon, I hope). The formatting is going a bit better, but when I went to save after some more edits, it saved in the wrong format and I lost a lot of what I'd done. I'm not a computer person, thus the issues. However, we do have a book cover, which I'll be putting on here with a blurb about the book in the next week.
So, again, I'm really sorry about how long things are taking. It's horrible and I feel totally awful about it. Please, don't hate me, I promise it'll come out soon.

Formatting sucks
So, I have been formatting for forever. I am not a computer person and get confused very easily. But I also don't have the extra money to spend on paying someone to format my book for Smashwords right now, so I've been trying to do it myself. Let's just say it isn't going well.
I finally finished, I think, tonight. The last thing to do is the cover of the book. Problem there is, I have no cover.
The cover shoots have not been going well and I will not publish something that I don't feel captures what I'm trying say.
I should be doing another shoot sometime this week and will hopefully get the shot I see in my head. It really isn't that hard of a shot, we just can't seem to get it right. Maybe I'm asking to much, but it's my book, I want it right.
Once I have the shot, my photo editor will have the picture back to me very quickly and I'll be able to finish the formatting completely.
Then it's just uploading it to Smashwords and praying all goes well.
I am sorry that it's taken so long. I really hate that I didn't get it out sooner and it's now the fifth of November. I wanted it out before Halloween, but like I said, computers and I do not get along.
So, I hope that you out there in reader/web land are still interested. I'll post in the next few days a blurb about the book, which is still eluding me.
Other then that, I hope all is well with you out there in internet land.

Swollowed by Darkness
So, I live in California, and yesterday California decided to attack the electricity. All over California were major power outages. The area I live in was, from what I've seen, the worst effected. There were over 5,000 people effected by the power outage.
But the best part? The best part was the fact that the city I live in was oddly effected. The north western half of it was completely out. No lights, no signal lights even. It was crazy. Especially when my family and I decided to drive around town to see what was going on. It was hilarious to drive through the darkened streets, then suddenly come the the alive parts. The parts that everyone seemed to be visiting because no once could cook, so they went to all the working fast food chains and restaurants.
It was great. Except my daughter was a bit confused. She kept asking when the lights would come back on, or if they would just turn back on when the sun came up in the morning. She seemed to think that the sun had effected the lights, even though the power went out before the sun went down.
It took them nearly five hours to get our power back on. I had a lot of fun with it, my family... not so much. But whatever. It was a great excuse to light all my yummy smelling candles and read by candle light. I felt like I was transported in time. Until my husband got hungry and we went for pizza in the living part of town.
So, that was how my week's gone thus far. Just an update on life stuff. Book stuff is going pretty good. We're hoping to stay on track.
Goodnight to everyone!
